Opened merchandise may be returned within 30 business days of delivery, and E-scooters must have less than 10 miles of usage recorded by the device. The part was on back order. It arrived in a cpl of weeks. Took about 15 mins to install.. great speed and service thanks Voros!!
Scooter kept shutting off; I also noticed the lights would dim at times. Turned out to be the step-down controller. I also remember maybe a few hundred miles after I got the scooter; it also shutdown on me; was able to restart and it never happened again; until now. I think I have about 1500 miles on the scooter. Was really easy to replace. With the new step-down controller, scooter is more responsive which is great. Might buy a spare because this is something that can be replaced on the side of the road.

I was having some very unusual and seemingly unrelated symptoms on my scooter. After spending some time looking at the wiring block diagram, I realized which part had failed. Kaabo calls it a transformer but it does quite a bunch more including power and low voltage relays. I replaced the part and everything started working again. Inexpensive and easy to replace.
