What changed on the steering damper clip.
The clip that holds the steering damper now has a threaded hole, so a screw pulls it tight and it stays put through normal use. The earlier version had a plain hole with nothing to bite on, so it could work loose over time. Everything else about the clip is unchanged: this is a durability fix, not a redesign. It applies to the RS Midnight and the RS Lite Midnight.
World's first transforming system: 4-in-1 superscooter.
Four selectable pedal height settings take ground clearance from 183 mm to 303 mm, so the same machine goes from low and planted to something that clears obstacles. Off-roader, SUV, sedan and sportscar are the same scooter set up four ways rather than a compromise between them.
Speed up charging with smart BMS.
The 72V 40Ah UL2849 certified pack on the Midnight is good for up to 60 miles, and it takes charge from two sources at once. That halves the wait, which is the difference between an overnight machine and one you can turn around in an evening. The battery management system keeps the power delivery consistent and the pack safe while it does it.
Born to race.
Dual motors on dual 50 A Raptor P sine wave controllers, making 8400 W at peak. The Midnight tops out at 60 mph and the Lite at 55, and both put the power down progressively rather than in a lurch. What you feel is not the top number so much as how quickly it gets there.
Smart technology at your fingertips.
Pair your phone for ride modes, the lighting system, remote lock and unlock, and live stats for speed, distance and battery. The 4.2 inch LCD sits centrally with a raised edge so it stays readable in daylight, and the app is on both Android and iOS.
Eleven levels, one dial.
A C-shaped hydraulic suspension absorber system with eleven response levels, adjustable on a dial. Paired with 11 in x 3.5 in tubeless tires it lets you set the ride firm for smooth tarmac and soft for broken ground, without tools and without guessing.
Safety and Visibility: Ride with Confidence.
IPX6 water resistance on the body, front and rear lights, and multifunctional side lights that double as under-deck neon. The half-twist throttle gives fine control moving between low and high speed, which matters more than outright power when the road is wet or busy.

The InMotion RS Midnight elevates your safety with its advanced enhancements. Its half-twist throttle ensures precise speed control, allowing for effortless transition between low and high speeds.
Lite, or the full Midnight.
Same frame, same brakes, same tires, same transforming deck. The Midnight carries the bigger pack, which is where the extra speed, the extra range and most of the extra weight come from. If you want the outright performance, take the Midnight; if you would rather spend less and carry less, the Lite is the same scooter with a smaller battery.

Performance figures were adjusted downwards in 2026: we calculate them for a rider of 200 lbs rather than repeating the manufacturer's best case, so some of our numbers are lower than the ones printed on the box. Speed and range depend on rider weight, terrain, tire pressure and temperature, and riding near the top speed shortens range noticeably.

This thing is straight up legit, like I haven’t even gone 100 percent or even 3rd mode and is insane. I’m so happy I got it in the midnight black because It feels so cool. Going from the cruiser to this is insane. Is like being the hulk but not having to turn into him.

Our approach is simple: what you see on the website is what you get. The specs we publish are the specs the scooter actually delivers. Whatever you select is what shows up, no surprises in either direction.
One thing that isn't always obvious is that we often publish numbers lower than the manufacturer's. Range and top speed figures from the factory tend to be measured under ideal conditions that nobody actually rides in, so we adjust them down to what we've verified ourselves. It means our spec sheets sometimes look less impressive than the competition's, but it also means riders aren't disappointed when they get the scooter home.
We'd rather under-promise and have you happy with the thing you bought.

Just received a little while ago. The box wasn't perfect condition. The only problem was the scooter was on when I opened the box. Everything seems to be okay right now, I am charging waiting for the first ride to make sure it's okay.

The Inmotion RS is by far one of the best, if not the best high performance scooters you can buy that’s actually worth the money. This beast of a scooter is built with high durability to withstand the most demanding and rigorous riding styles. This scooter is like riding a sport bike but in scooter form when it comes to ride quality. It’s honestly a very comfortable and versatile scooter to own. When I first bought the Inmotion RS, I realized that I’ve just bought myself something that’s special and built with extreme quality. I knew it was one of the nicer scooters on the market as soon as I noticed the fantastic packaging job when unboxing it. This scooter was satisfying from unboxing to set up. This scooter is so good that I bought another one, making me a proud owner of 2 Inmotion RS Super Scooters. I think it’s cool to make something yours by adding mods or decorations that makes what you have stand out. Well, I wanted my scooter to look more track focused. So, I went for the racing aesthetics with my Inmotion RS by adding racing related advertisement graphic stickers to it and lowering it to its lowest riding position. Also, if any of you are interested in the more racing/track look with the graphic stickers and the lowest riding position, you can lower the scooter to the lowest riding position point and you can find the stickers at a motorcycle dealer or order the stickers online. This scooter is fully adjustable and folds for easy portability. The Inmotion RS has a claimed top speed of 68mph, but in real world testing, I’ve reached speeds of 55-62mph depending on rider weight (with me weighing 200 pounds) and if there is any slight incline. But this scooter is highly capable of reaching 68mph with a lighter weight rider that’s riding on a flat and level surfaced road or track with no incline. It also has a smart BMS battery that is 72V 40AH that helps the scooter with its impressive long range. You’ll never have range anxiety with this scooter for sure. It is a very reliable electric vehicle that can replace a car for around the city and local commutes. If your job is within 40 miles, then you can take the street route on this scooter with no problems, allowing you to save on gas. It’s also water resistant with an IPX7 battery and IPX6 exterior design. I absolutely love this scooter and this scooter is the only one I would buy over and over again because it’s really that great. I highly recommend the Inmotion RS to anyone looking for the most exhilarating experience on a very reliable, high quality and high performing scooter. Definitely a 5 out of 5 purchase in my opinion. I’m looking forward to Inmotion making a hyper scooter that looks the same as the RS (because the Inmotion RS has a build with good geometry) but just slightly bigger with a much higher top speed.

I've had it for a few days. It's a super, super attractive scooter. It has a unique style. I love it. And as for the speed, it's super fast. I've only used it in speed #2 and it has 4 speeds, but it's too powerful. This scooter is worth every dollar spent. I'm very happy. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The same scooter with a different battery. The Midnight carries a 72V 40Ah pack for 60 mph and up to 60 miles; the Lite carries 72V 30Ah for 55 mph and up to 50 miles. Frame, brakes, tires and the transforming deck are identical.
Not especially. Replacement parts and accessories are available directly through our site, and our support team is here 7 days a week. The build uses premium materials, so wear is slower than you might expect for the performance.
At 128 lbs the Midnight is a lot of scooter. That weight is what makes it stable and durable at speed, but it is not something you carry upstairs. If portability matters more than outright pace, look at our lightweight range instead.
The pack is designed for thousands of charge cycles with minimal degradation, and the BMS prevents overcharging and overheating. Avoid deep discharges and store it at moderate temperatures and it will last.
The body is rated IPX6, so light rain, wet roads and splashes are fine. Do not submerge it, and wipe it down after a wet ride to prevent corrosion.
Yes. Dual motors making 8400W at peak give it plenty of torque for steep ground, and it holds speed rather than straining. How steep depends on rider weight and how fast you take it.
It can be, but respect it. The controls are straightforward and the app makes setup easy, but 60 mph on a 128 lb machine deserves gear and experience. Start in a lower ride mode and work up.
